I remember this RAH show in a strange way. It's almost if, over the course of the night, the grand old space became a club gig. My memory of it is I felt like I was watching as much as performing...the whole space just seemed to be one group of people with the same intention of having a great night together. I hadn't heard the show back until now but remembered it as one of the happiest times with the band. Before this we had last played there over ten years before. You can hear us here too working out one of our grand FANtasies: to play the last part of Abbey Road. It was on this tour we started a new tradition of a little acoustic sing song at the end. It worked well with some audience participation here but slightly fell apart later in the tour when we really should have breathalysed the volunteers before they came on stage.
